Just a small donation will go a long way to help me meet my goal for St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic. Give in honor or memory of a doctor that is important to you.
Since graduating at Wofford, I have started working at St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic as an AmeriCorps VISTA. In my role, I manage volunteers and assist with fundraising and marketing efforts. I began volunteering in the clinic in 2018, and continued throughout my undergraduate career. Watching the amazing staff and volunteers change the lives of Spartanburg residents was my main inspiration to pursue a career in the medical field.
I am fundraising in honor of Dr. Petra Warren. Dr. Warren is the Volunteer Medical Director at St. Luke's, and she sees her own patients every Thursday morning. I am inspired by Dr. Warren's continued devotion to St. Luke's and her patients, and I strive to be like her after finishing my own medical education.
